ABOUT ÆTRYX PRESS
ÆTRYX PRESS was built from love of comic, storytelling, and the simple belief that there will always be another world worth discovering.
But it started much smaller than that.
The first book began as something I created with my kids - a smaller story built around imagination, adventure, and helping kids discover the joy of reading. There was no grand plan to build a publishing company. We were simply creating something together and seeing where the story took us.
That first experience of changed everything.
The excitement of creating one book led to another idea, than another. New stories emerged. New creators came aboard. What began as a small project with my kids grew into a passion for creating comics and building worlds - and eventually became ÆTRYX PRESS.
What started with a handful of independently created books has grown into something much larger: a home for original stories, ambitious ideas, and creators who want to build something of their own.
Our catalogue crosses genres and audiences - from strange science fiction and dark horror to superheroes, comedy, fantasy and all-ages adventures - but every project starts in the same place: with an idea we believe is worth pursuing.
We aren’t interested in putting every story into the same box. Some ÆTRYX books are ridiculous. Some are unsettling. Some are built around enormous worlds that could take years to fully explore, while others simply begin with an idea that made us laugh and refused to go away.
That freedom to move between genres, tones, and styles is a major part of what ÆTRYX is meant to be.

ÆTRYX PRESS is built around collaboration. Comics don’t come from one person or one discipline - they come together through writers, artists, colourists, letterers, designers and creators bringing their own ideas and strengths to the page.
We believe those voices matter. The goal isn’t to make every ÆTRYX book look or feel the same. It’s to give creators room to bring something of themselves to the work and to build stories that have their own identity.
Some of the people behind these books have been creating comics for years. Others are still building their path. Some live close to home, while others are working with us from different parts of the world. What connects them is a love of storytelling and the desire to make something readers haven’t quite seen before.
As ÆTRYX PRESS grows, we want that circle to grow with it. New creators,

THE NEXT WORLD IS JUST THE BEGINNING
ÆTRYX PRESS is only at the beginning of its own story.
What started with one book has grown into a catalogue of original worlds, and our plans reach far beyond what exists today. New series are being developed. Existing worlds are growing. New creators are joining us. And ideas that once existed as conversations, sketches and half-filled notebooks are becoming books readers can actually hold in their hands.
Our goal isn’t simply to release more comics. We want to build a home where stories have room to become something bigger.
That means continuing to develop original comics and anthologies across science fiction, horror, fantasy, comedy, superheroes and all-age adventures. It mean creating new opportunities to collaborate with artists, writers, colourists, letterers and creators from around the world. And it means being willing to take chances on ideas that might not fit neatly anywhere else.
As ÆTRYX grows, so will the worlds around it. Some stories may remain a single book. Others could grow into long-running series, interconnected universes and entirely new corners of the ÆTRYX catalogue.
We don’t know exactly where every doorway will lead.
That’s the point.
